Here is a list of 2025 games and upgrades and desktop repairs you might need before playing them. Split Fiction and Desktop Repair Split Fiction can be played on either Windows 10 or Windows 11. However, if you have an older system, you will need to upgrade to a newer version of Windows. Ideally, you would want a Ryzen 7 or i7 processor with 16GB of RAM and an 8GB video card. Fortunately, you can play the game with lower specifications. For example, you could play with a Ryzen 5, i5, 8GB and a 4GB video card. Regardless of the other specifications, you will need 85GB of free space on your hard drive. I’d also like to note that I tried playing the game with a Ryzen 5 and the game barely played. You may want to make sure that you have the maximum recommendations for this game. According to Google’s AI, reviews for this game are overwhelmingly positive, making it a popular game. Doom: The Dark Ages and Desktop Repair For long-time gamers, this new version of “Doom” is a refreshing new game based on an old, but favorite concept. If you’d like to play this modern version of Doom, then you’ll need a basic gaming computer, at minimum. For example, the game can run on Windows 10 or Windows 11, but not older operating systems. It won’t even install if you try. A Ryzen 7 and i7 are recommended for this game, nothing less will do. A minimum 8GB video card is also required, along with 16GB of RAM. If you’d like to play the game at optimum performance, then you’ll want a 12GB video card and 32GB of RAM. It’s also worth noting that 100GB from an NVME drive is recommended. These drives tend to have faster speeds and better processing. Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Desktop Repair Assassin’s Creed Shadows seems to be the 2nd most popular game in the Assassin’s creed series. It is second only to Valhalla in sales and popularity. The game will only run on 64bit versions of Windows 10 and Windows 11 with Direct X 12. The developers recommend having a Ryzen 5 or i5 for this game, but a Ryzen 7 or i7 is preferred. In fact, it is also recommended to have 16GB of RAM and an 8GB video card at minimum. You will also need approximately 115GB of space on a solid state drive. Additionally, a solid state drive is recommended for speed and fast processing. I played the game on a Windows 11 machine with a Ryzen 7, a 12GB video card, and 32GB of RAM. The game ran beautifully and without issues. Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector and Desktop Repair Citizen Sleeper 2 is a popular game which provides engaging choices with unpredictable consequences, which create a deep connection between the player and the game. Although it is one of the smaller games on the market, requiring only 3GB of space on your hard drive, this doesn’t affect popularity. If you would like to play this awesome game, then you can probably do so from any basic computer. The requirements include 4GB of RAM, Windows 10, 64-bit processor, and the ability to install Direct X 11. Surprisingly, it is also available for MAC OS X 10.10.5 or higher. There is also no mention of a video card, which tells me that the “onboard” graphics are perfectly adequate to play the game. Yippee! Elden Ring: Nightreign and Desktop Repair I’m not going to lie, everyone in my family plays Elden Ring: Nightreign. The game appeals to both old players who love the original and new players who are attracted to the newer concepts of the game. The biggest, most significant feature of the system requirements is that you can play the game with a 3GB or 4GB video card. This is awesome since you don’t need to go buy a whole new setup just to play the game. Especially with the cost of video cards these days, ranging in the $500’s, it’s best to use older equipment. In fact, you can play with a Ryzen 5 or even an i5 on MAXIMUM settings! Of course, you’ll still need at least Windows 10, 64-bit version, 12GB of RAM, 30GB of hard drive space, and Direct X 12 installed. Onimusha 2 and Desktop Repair Speaking of developers who use reasonable hardware requirements. Onimusha 2 is at the top of the list of easiest requirements to meet. In fact, these requirements are so easy to meet that you can put a 4GB video card into most basic computers and you can play this game. Super easy. Additionally, I am amazed that you can play this game on an i3 or Ryzen 3. It’s older technology, but this game proves that it’s still relevant. Furthermore, the game only requires 8GB of RAM, 25GB of storage space, and the installation of Direct X 12. You can’t beat that. I’d also like to mention that if you don’t play the game, you are missing out. The upgrades that you can perform on weapons makes the game very engaging and challenging. Le Mans Ultimate and Desktop Repair Le Mans is not a game for everyone since it is a car racing game. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Personally, I like to sit in my cave with a wheelbase, steering wheel, and petals for a totally immersive experience. Yes, I love Le Mans. Although the game can be played with a 4GB video card, 8GB of RAM, and i5 or Ryzen 5, I would recommend using the maximum hardware specifications. For example, an 8GB video card and 16GB of RAM. These maximum hardware specifications would give you smooth gameplay for an immersive experience. The thing you want is lagging or freezing during your races, this would take away from the magic of playing. A Word About Games and Desktop Repair Minimum gaming specifications are designed to play the game at the lowest settings. Maximum gaming specifications are designed to play the game at optimal settings. I would highly recommend maximum gaming specifications for most games. The last thing you want is game lag, freezing or FPS drop. All of which can occur with minimum gaming specifications.
