Amazon is the most popular place to buy computer parts these days. In fact, most shops for computer repair near me look to Amazon first for parts. The primary reason is because you can get many parts the same day, next day or two-day. In fact, when you own a PC repair shop, getting parts fast is essential. Unfortunately, other vendors aren’t so easy to work with and can sometimes take weeks to deliver goods. Amazon also offers free shipping with a cheap monthly membership and free returns on most products. I promise, I don’t get paid for this, but Amazon is awesome. I rarely have any issues with their website, refunds, vendors, or products.

I have been working with Bliss computers for some time now. As a matter of fact, I once bought their products through trusted websites like Amazon and EBay, if memory serves correctly. I’m a little old, so please forgive me if I’m also a little senile. I never had an issue with Bliss until one day I had to order directly from their website. Unfortunately, the product I needed to order was not available through any third part company. I sucked it up and ordered the product, only to find that they had sent me the wrong one. I returned the product and asked for a refund. Instead of refunding the money to my card, they gave me store credit. I never order directly from them, so this was very inconvenient. Since then, they’ve sent me 3 bad or incorrect screens. I’m trying to steer away from them.

Screenarama are my heroes. This is a company I have been doing business with for well over a decade and they rock! They have some of the best customer service you will ever find. Unfortunately, they only seem to sell laptop screens, it’s all they deal in. I really wish they would expand their inventory into other areas of computer parts, I would totally buy. As a matter of fact, every time I have an issue, I love to call them, because they are super friendly. I love how helpful and nice they always are, whether via phone or email.
New Egg and Computer Repair Near Me
New Egg is another one of those companies that has been around for a very long time. I also love doing business with them, because of their excellent customer service. There have been occasions when there’s been issues with their 3rd party vendors, but New Egg has been fantastic. In fact, I have also been doing business with these guys for over 15 years and I love them. However, I will admit that sometimes their prices do fall a little higher than other vendors. It’s the only real issue I’ve had when dealing with them, but sometimes they have a good deal.
Best Buy Parts and Computer Repair Near Me
Best Buy is a great place to go LOCALLY when there is absolutely nowhere else to get your parts and you need them right now. In fact, I wouldn’t go to Best Buy for any other reason. I’m not a huge fan of big box stores, so please use this store sparingly. At least with places like Amazon and EBay, you are usually dealing with small mom and pop vendors. Otherwise, Best Buy has a good selection of basic parts, such as hard drives and RAM that are available immediately. This is perfect for Mr. or Mrs. Impatient.

Brightfocal is a wonderful company that can be compared to Screenarama. They have been around for many years and sell solely laptop screens for laptop screen replacements. As a matter of fact, Brightfocal has a very large selection of laptop screens for you to choose from. If you don’t want to order directly from them, then you can find their products on Amazon and EBay. It’s one of the few times I recommend buying from EBay, since Brightfocal is a trusted vendor. Unfortunately, Brightfocal doesn’t always have what you need, in which case go to Screenarama. They’ll definitely have it.

You could seriously strangle yourself thinking about all the vendors on EBay that are just terrible. My one rule about EBay in my shop is, DO NOT order on EBay unless you can’t find it anywhere else or if it’s free. EBay has a string of vendors that don’t honor warranties, charge large amounts of money for return shipping, or charge a ridiculous restocking fee upon returns. It’s actually really terrible. Unfortunately, the worst parts to order on EBay are used parts. In fact, used parts typically never work when purchased on EBay. It’s best to avoid them altogether.

Americans don’t make parts for Malaysian computers. Alternatively, you could just not use technology, because most of our tech is actually made overseas.
