In other words, my computer’s motherboard had finally given out and needed to be replaced. Furthermore, it was going to cost nearly $500 and as a single mom of 5 kids it was out of my reach at the moment. I went home and cried. While I cried, I took my computer apart and put it back together. I pressed the power button and it turned on. What?! Later in life, I learned that sometimes this happens with batteries. In fact, it’s a simple fix. Unplug it and plug it back in.

Yet, I called around all the PC repair shops and asked for upgrades to my laptop. Of course, when I told them the kind of laptop I had, they all but laughed in my face. Let’s do this; I called the first PC repair shop online. They fixed my computer and put my data onto a new hard drive. Hooray! Something finally went right. Except, I failed to see the “going out of business” sign in the front. Bummer!

If only I hadn’t quit gaming, then I would have the need for these awesome people.
